The one tip I would give for home styling would be this, find pieces that are versatile. You may have to invest a little more upfront but it ends up saving you money in the long run. My style is pretty simple and classic. I don’t like to overthink things and I typically like my decor to not be overwhelmed with too many things going on at once. I always think of this one professor in college that would tell the class marketing, “Always keep it simple”. Which is something I apply to my decor too.

This year I wanted to transition my boxwood wreath to Halloween with a simple orange and black polka dot ribbon. I feel like this fall I have been gravitating towards polka dots a lot. I also used that print on my fall table setting where I used polka dot napkins.

Every season I take the time to dust off and re-fluff my wreath. It really does give it a new life. It’s a simple step that sometimes may be overlooked. Make sure you do that with any wreath or faux stems that you use. It really helps make it look fresh.

I usually use Microfiber towels or dusters to clean any off faux plants, wreaths, and faux stems.

The pop of orange on the green boxwood wreath looks so pretty and the black glittery polka dots give it a fun look. You can dress up your front door with mums, pumpkins, and lanterns. If you want to make your boxwood wreath more spooky, try adding some faux spider webs along with faux spiders.
