It’s a warm summer afternoon, the grill is fired up, and the smell of sizzling burgers fills the air. You’ve got friends and family gathered around, enjoying the backyard and time together. But what’s missing from this scene? A perfect glass of wine, of course! While beer might be the traditional choice for a BBQ, why not kick it up a notch and add some sophistication to your cookout? Forget the fancy stemware(enter plastic stemware) and stuffy atmosphere—today, we’re diving into a fun and creative way to serve wine at your next barbecue that will have your guests raising their glasses.

What You Will Need:

-Bottles of Wine (I used Personalwine.com, they helped me create labels for my party)

-Glasses

-Real Fruit Popsicles

Before BBQ:

-Make sure you use a very chilled bottle of wine (white, blush, or rose’). I like to put mine in the fridge the night before I serve. That way it’s super cold.

-Another tip, is to buy popsicles that use real fruit only. The cheaper “fruit” popsicles won’t taste as good. Some of the real fruit ones have chunks of fruit that will give the wine more of a sangria taste.

How to Serve:

Keep wine on ice outdoors and popsicles in a cooler with ice or freezer until you are ready to serve. Once you are ready to serve your drink, place a popsicle in a wine glass and pour wine into the glass over the popsicle. Serve immediately. That’s it! Super easy, right?

Time to Enjoy:

For those who love dining al fresco and also love wine, this is a great way to enjoy a refreshing glass of wine while spending time outdoors.
