Dress-ing for Spring is one of my favorites! It’s the time of year for new beginnings and fresh starts! It’s also a great time to clean out your closet and freshen up your wardrobe. DRESSES are a fun and easy staple for spring. As a mom of 3, dresses are my go to. I LOVE  how simple it is to pick out ONE piece of clothing and BAM! you have got your outfit done. Really helps save a lot of time so that you are not standing in the closet lamenting over what to wear. Throw on a dress and you are ready for the day!

When my first 2 were little I spent A LOT of time in yoga pants. Actually, now that I am sitting here writing this, I realize I probably spent 7 years of my life in yoga pants, no joke. Not that yoga pants are bad but I think I got into a stay at home mommy rut. When my 3rd was born I wanted to change that. Started taking better care of myself and not feeling guilty about it. If buying a dress made me feel more put together I would buy it.  Let me just clarify, clothes do not define you but dresses can make you feel instantly pretty and that kind of confidence just oozes out of you when wearing a great dress.

When shopping for dresses there are a few things to consider. Style, fit, detail, and comfort. Pick dresses that call to you. Don’t be afraid to go against the trends. Just because something is “trendy” doesn’t mean it will look good on everyone. Know what looks good on YOUR body. If you don’t know, ask a friend to shop with you or ask the staff at the store. Also remember that just because something “fits” doesn’t necessarily mean it will look good on you. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and so does fashion. The great thing about fashion is that there is so much freedom for self expression. An art, in my opinion.
