Easy Chicken Marsala Crockpot Recipe

Ingredients
- 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- salt and pepper
- 3 garlic cloves (you can use whole or minced)
- 1 1/2 cups sliced white mushrooms (add 2 cups if you like more mushrooms)
- 1 cup sweet Marsala cooking wine
- 1/2 cup Chicken broth
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/3 cup of cold water
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh Parsley (garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper
- Place chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Top with mushrooms and garlic.
- In a separate bowl, mix together wine, broth, and vinegar.
- Top the chicken with wine mixture.
- Cover crock pot and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours.
- Open crock pot and remove chicken.
- Stir the cornstarch with 1/3 cup cold water. Add to crock pot along with heavy cream and mix well.
- Return chicken to crock pot. Cover and cook on HIGH for 30 minutes.
- Serve hot over pasta, rice or spaghetti squash.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley on top to garnish.
