Easy No-Bake Dessert For The 4th Of July

When I was scrolling through Pinterest, I saw this cute little idea for a no-fuss and no-bake dessert that would be great to make for the 4th of July. I am all about easy when it comes to summer time and this could be fun for the kids to also get involved in making too. You could set up a little ice cream table or station for them to add the sprinkles themselves.

All you need are three ingredients:

• Red Sprinkles
• Blue Sprinkles
• Ice Cream Sandwiches

FIRST STEP

If you buy the sprinkles separately add them to a bowl and mix them together.

Second Step

Scoop Sprinkles onto all sides of the ice cream sandwich using a spoon. Be sure to use a flat plate underneath to catch all the loose sprinkles.

Third Step

You can also press down the ice cream sandwich onto the plate of sprinkles to ensure all sides have sprinkles. Be careful to not push down too hard since it could break the ice cream sandwich.

Additional Notes:

• You have to move quickly when adding sprinkles and suggest doing this indoors right before serving
• You can also pre-decorate the ice cream sandwiches beforehand and keep them in your freezer in an airtight container and take them out right before serving
• This can also be a fun activity to do with your kids to get them involved in the kitchen.
