Family Staycation at the Four Seasons Hotel in Houston, Texas

Ok, be honest. When you think of Four Seasons Hotel what words come to mind? For me, it’s words like luxury, upscale, and professional. Definitely not a place for kids, right? WRONG!!

I was incredibly surprised when I learned about the hotel’s HOUSTON WITH KIDS package.

They welcome children of all ages and have put great thought into helping families create lasting memories at the hotel. Making it the perfect destination for a family staycation in Houston.

FIRST IMPRESSION

After we were greeted by valet, we entered into the main lobby which is beautifully decorated and feels like a great big inviting living room. There is a large bar/ restaurant on the main level and also a little cafe where you can purchase coffee and smaller treats throughout the day.

ROOMS

The accommodations were incredible for a family of FIVE. We ended up doing the executive suite along with a king room attached. It provided us two separate sleeping areas with a “living room” in between each bedrooms. Giving us the amble space we needed during our stay.

AMENITIES

The Four Seasons Hotel in Houston has plenty to do and you won’t be bored. From cooking classes for kids, family movie nights, yoga by the pool, a fitness gym, a spa, multiple options for eating, an outdoor pool and EVEN a virtual Top Golf experience room!!!

FYI, the Top Golf room can be rented out even if you are not staying at the hotel. Great space for a team building event or a bachelor party or girls night out.

Extra Touches

One thing I noticed right away are the details at the hotel. Those little details can make all the difference in your hotel stay.

They have fruit infused water by the pool and also in the lobby. Fun things like a hammocks and a ping pong table poolside add a relaxing and fun touch.

Along with poolside rooms that have personal patio areas that lead out to the pool area. All help to create a fun relaxing environment with kids.

Houston is an incredible city, with so much to offer. For those that live local or nearby, there is no need to drive far for a fun family vacation. A staycation at the Four Seasons in Houston is a great option.
