Classic Christmas Home Decorations in Red, Black, and Silver

Christmas Home Decor Ideas
This is one of my favorite times of the year. The cooler temps, cozy sweaters, hot cocoa, and all the holiday feels make me so happy. I also love all of the decorations and being able to transform my home. Wanted to share my Christmas home decor ideas with you today. Although there are many different colors I could use to decorate my home for the holidays, I tend to always stick to neutral colors with the occasional pop of color.
This year I decided to go with a red, black, and silver theme. I wanted to keep the colors for this year classic and traditional. I added a touch of black to add an element of elegance. Mixing neutral-colored prints also added to the elegance of the table. These black & white dot stoneware and black-and-white medallion stoneware work perfectly together. They add a nice element of interest without being too over the top. I used mostly silver throughout the house but mixed in some gold pieces like candlesticks and flatware.
Christmas Home Decor Ideas For Your Mantle

With the fireplace decor this year I wanted to add touches of red through the personalized stockings and also the berries on the garland. I wanted the red to be a more subtle touch on the mantle. For touches of black, I added black ribbon to the stockings, the mirror, and used black candlestick holders. Adding a lantern, pillows, and birch logs helped tie in the look. I used a dough bowl to hold the birch logs and added some pinecones to finish off the look. The tree is from King of Christmas. I will say, after looking for an additional tree this year I still couldn’t find one that I loved as much as my King of Christmas tree. The ones I saw at the store were pretty but most of them weren’t super full. I know King of Christmas trees is an investment but they are so worth it in my opinion. They also have the best customer service.
Christmas Home Decor Ideas For Your Ottoman Coffee Table

A decorating challenge of mine is our sectional sofa and the extra-large ottoman that we use as a coffee table. I feel Ottomans are always harder to style. This year I decided to use my new board from Nordstrom, a black house, and a white tin candle to create a wintery scene. I added a berry pick to add some subtle red. I do like how functional the wood board actually makes the ottoman since you can use it to rest your drink or a small snack.
