How To Style A Spring Table
Spring is right around the corner and it’s one of my favorite times of year. A new beginning. A fresh start. Love bringing spring elements into my home decor.
Freshening up your table decor for spring can be as easy as 1-2-3 with these 3 tips to styling a spring tablescape.
Select a color theme
When decorating, the first thing I always think of is… THEME. I first ask myself what sort of feel I am looking to achieve? This is also the time when I consider what colors to be used to achieve that theme. Typically, I try to stick with two main colors and all others used to accent.
For this table I wanted it to feel feminine, bright, fresh, and crisp. Which is why I selected green and pink as the two main colors.
Elements of Interests
When the season of spring comes to mind, I instantly think of easter, green grass, florals, bright and airy. Decor like the bunnies, wooden eggs, mercury glass are all used to help tie in the decor/look. To give it that pop it needs.
New and Old
When decorating, I’m a big believer of finding ways to use what you already have in your home along with purchasing a few new items to freshen up a look. The garland on the table I used for Christmas on my fireplace mantel. The mercury candle holders I always move around my house.
I’m all about being smart with your money and always looking to find ways to incorporate already owned decor pieces into a new look. Not only will it save you money but you will be super proud of yourself when you step back and see how cute it all looks together. 😉
