Yummy and Healthier Back to School Snacks
I was asked by Carusele to participate in this #SimplyNice campaign, sponsored by Walgreens. Although I have been compensated, all opinions are my own.
I can’t believe summer is quickly passing us by and I’m already starting to plan for back to school shopping! With 3 kids in school, I like to plan ahead since it does take some time to get everything they need.
This year our back to school list includes: new clothes, shoes, school supplies, sports needs and SNACKS!
Since my kids have committed to packing their own lunches and snacks, I want to be sure to have healthier options available for them. Walgreen’s NICE! brand is making it easier for any parent to find good products to keep on hand.
SIMPLE. HONEST. DELICIOUS.
Nice! products can be found exclusively at Walgreens stores. Find a local Walgreens HERE. They offer a wide range of food and beverages with quality ingredients that make it easy to eat well- because the nutritional information is found on the corner of the packaging. This short-hand is there to make shopping easier!
Nice! products are always made with real ingredients and when ever possible, contain no partially hydrogenated oils or trans fats, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, or high fructose corn syrup. Something that as a mom I pay close attention to.
MY FAMILY’S FAVORITES
Let’s be honest, the real test comes when kids try a new food and whether or not they like it. Am I right, moms and dads?? Often times I buy healthier options and my kids think they are gross but this time I was so happy that they loved these products!
Some of their favorite Nice! products are:
- Nice! Veggie Strwas 6-pack Lunch Pack
- Nice! Organic White Cheddar Puffs 6-pack Lunch Pack
- Nice! Mini Chocolate Chip Cookie 6-pack Lunch Pack
- Nice!Organics Original Beef Jerky
- Nice! Magic Mix 9oz
BACK TO SCHOOL CHECKLISTS
To make back to school time run a bit more smoothly and organized, I have created two checklists. One for the parent, and one for the student. One will help the parent better plan for back to school shopping and one is for the child to make sure they get back into a routine and not forget anything.
